Recovery email
Optional. A verified email lets you reset a forgotten password and lifts the daily limits on connection requests and file uploads.
Adding an email reduces privacy: it links the account to you. It lets you reset your password; it does not restore your encryption key — only a recovery key, made in the mobile app, does.
